I use to fight people with 400 attack and 12 mafia. I would get beat up and sucker punched about every minute. It was really bad. I kept getting snuffed, losing experience, robbed, hitlisted, and lost so much money. Needless to say it was impossible to level up.

But after using this 1 secret tip from this mafia wars guide, I was able to turn myself around. I now have 4 accounts that are all level 1700 +, 1000 of each item (tantos, ubijca assault rifles, konstantin kargo carriers, lloyds spectres, etc). Why 1000? I gift to my mafia very generously. I also just happen to get too much of each item as I level up my accounts and have too much money, stat points, and resources to spend.

The Mafia Wars Las Vegas limited time job, “Whack the Rat Jimmy Vegas”, is now live in game. The standard format is being used: choose between a 5 minute, 8 minute, and 24 hour job, complete a collection, and get an achievement.
1. Master Jimmy Vegas event to 100%.
Pretty straight-forward – do the limited-time jobs! Here is the job list:

The 5 minute job will provide you a lot of mastery points if repeated regularly, but it will cost you the most energy. The 24 hour job has a low energy cost and pays a lot of EXP, but only provides 20% mastery. It is a good idea to do at least some 5 minute and 8 minute jobs prior to switching over to the 24 hour job.
2. Complete the Slots Collection
Just like with other similar events, the Slots Collection is spread between the limited time job, normal jobs, fighting, and gifting. Here is the item list and where they can be found:

The best way to get the Jimmy Vegas collection pieces is to do the 5-minute job. That way, you will earn on average 2-3 items per hour (you only earn an average of .06 items per hour with the 8-hour job and .04 items per hour with the 24-hour job! Don’t rely on the slow jobs to get both of your collection pieces.

This automatically completes once you finish the previous two requirements.

Also, it looks like this weekend is another double mastery / double fighting loot weekend. Looks like they are really trying to speed players through content so everyone can get to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, I think most players are bottle-necked by $B rather than energy.

If you want to use the 8 hour timer, you will need 2 extra days of doing 5 minute jobs to finish in time. If you use 24 hour timer, then it is 3 days of 5 minute job “farming” to finish it.

This just in – according to the Official Page, a “special Mafia Wars Las Vegas mission” will be available Saturday.

Note that this is not Mafia Wars Las Vegas itself but rather a limited time job (think of the Fix the World Cup / Easter / Valentine’s day events). There will be a limited time job that is “Mafia Wars Las Vegas themed” along with a collection (probably a time-restricted one like with Valentine’s and St. Patty’s Day), and a new achievement.

Probably another paris like mission teir. Pretty cool and the rewards are sick but still hoping for a full fledged city like cuba or bangkok was. As always pick the job mastery tier that fits your schedule. If you’re lazy like me you can feed off 8 and 24 hour cooldown timers on jobs and then on the last day or two you can try to rush to finish by using the 5 minute ones. Often times though, 8 or 24 hours are enough to master everything IF YOU DO NOT MISS a single 8 or 24 hour period. I recommend one when you wake up, one after you leave work, and one right befor eyou g to bed as your guides to mastering these kinds of paris or most likely las vegas jobs.

Just a quick update about the Mafia Wars Must-Play Weekend – players now get double mastery for doing jobs in Bangkok other cities. Double loot is also now dropping from fights.

I haven’t mentioned it yet, but you can get a “Rack of Vegas Poker Chips” as a free gift from friends. Supposedly those with the most Racks of Vegas Poker Chips will get access to the Mafia Wars Las Vegas beta, and then the items will turn into currency, but given historical trends, there is just no telling what they might be used for.

Also, I saw a notice on one of the must-play weekend pop-ups that next weekend there will also be some sort of event. We will have to wait and see!

Get your exp and awesome loot now. Zynga may be desperate to keep retention rates up but that doesn’t mean they will jut hand out all this free shit forever. They gotta make money too. DO NOT MISS OUT FOLKS!!!! 2x the exp and mastery means HALF the items needed to complete job teirs. Omg!
